Lakenya Johnson, M.S., CCC-SLP
With experience supporting students across diverse educational settings, LaKenya specializes in providing high-quality, evidence-based speech and language services that are both accessible and effective. Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of language development, literacy, and the critical role communication plays in academic success, confidence, and long-term outcomes.
LaKenya is especially passionate about expanding access to speech services in rural and underserved communities while maintaining the same standards of care expected in traditional in-person settings.
Our mission
Speech and Lagniappe is dedicated to partnering with school districts seeking the highest standards for their students. As a clinician-owned company, our mission is to deliver ethical and innovative speech therapy services. We are committed to integrity-driven, personalized care—ensuring every student is heard, supported, and empowered to thrive.
School contract services
We provide flexible, remote speech and language therapy services—including assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment for a wide range of speech, language, and communication difficulties. Currently, we serve school districts in Louisiana, Texas, Washington, Idaho, and Massachusetts. We offer adaptable contract options to fit the diverse needs of your district, with both short- and long-term contracts available as well as part-time and full-time positions.
remote supervision
We provide remote SLPA supervision by state and nationally certified SLPs. Supervision can be both direct and indirect.
